Bromfords’ Beetle Triumphs at Fords

The prestigious Fords Dunton Apprenticeship challenge for 2017 was won by the Bromfords’ Year 10 team (Oscar Bond, Daniel Foley, Max Giddens, Tom Goldstone and Josh Jadav).  The team called ‘Brom-Fords’ were judged on their presentation skills, design and build of a mechanical car with a braking system. The car had to carry an egg down a ramp and stop without crashing into a wall or breaking the egg.  Out of 11 teams from local schools Bromfords came first in both the IT Challenge and the overall best team prize.  This is part of their work related aspect of their careers education and they were supported by Mr Aldous and Mr Lee in the Technology Department.  Well done to all involved.
