School Trip to the Royal Veterinary College
By Chloe Gibbs and Chloe Morris
Walking up to the building, we found it difficult to get into the zone of actually learning anything after being trapped on a coach with Miss Opara, insisting on trying to sing acapella.
Instead of finding an old dishevelled building, our eyes were filled with the sights of a newly refurbished one. On entering the university, we were greeted by a welcoming, open, sitting area. We sat down and were introduced to our guide for the day, Isi, who told us about the day’s activities.
Then it began. The day was split into two sections; discovering the practice of veterinary science through bandaging soft toys, and identifying bone specimens, helped by the Head of Anatomy - Andrew.
