Parental Support
At The Bromfords School we believe parental engagement is key to the success of all our students especially those with SEND. As such we provide;
- A half termly SEND Parent Newsletter
- Half Termly SEND Parent Surgeries - where you can book an online slot to meet virtually with one of our SEND team to share information, ask questions and raise concerns. Please see below the dates and times. Booking details will be shared on this page a week before each SEND Parent Surgery.
- Half Termly SEND Parent Coffee Evening Events – where you can meet SEND staff and fellow parents of students with SEND. Each SEND Coffee Evening is also attended by an internal or external speaker who will deliver a presentation on a range of topics – recently these have included our link Speech and Language Therapist and our link Local Authority SEND Careers Advisor (see below their presentations). Please see below the dates and times. Booking details will be shared on this page a week before each SEND Parent Coffee Evening Event.
- A termly SEND Family Fun Event – where you can meet SEND staff, fellow families of SEND students at an informal setting such as the local bowling alley or park picnic. Please see below the dates and times. Booking details will be shared on this page a month before each SEND Family Fun Event.
